NASA Coating Evaluation

In 2014 NASA conducted a study to find a coating which had excellent corrosion protection properties, the lowest impact on the environment, and no zinc, heavy metal, or isocyanate.

The NASA test evaluated alternative coating systems over 18 months of outdoor exposure, sprayed with sea water every four hours. NASA uses this test because welds are known to be the weak link of any structure when it comes to corrosion.

The image to the left shows the welded panel results where only EonCoat survived this toughest of all tests. For more information and to view the report in full, please visit www.eoncoat.com
